There are definitely seams in the photograph where they appended the pics together, like this one:

I don't know who that was sitting between Aretha Franklin and Rev. Joseph Lowery, but he's had his head split open...

And in everyone's defense, I went to Dubya second inauguration in 2005 to personally give him the finger, and after expending all the energy to get there that morning, by the time the speech rolls around, you're pretty exhausted. Not to mention that when we were there, it was -17?F with the wind chill (which was cutting right through my heavy peacoat) and it looks comparable on the morning in the pic... So I don't blame them for being tired...

Oh, I did, but they managed to corral most of the anti-Bush people to a certain area of the route, and then they drove by that part really fast without getting out of the car. So we had to jeer the vehicle as it passed. There was a double line of police officers linked arm-in-arm on both sides of the street, so no one was going to ever approach him, even if he were on foot. He shoulda been a man and let us boo him to his face.

I actually wrote up an account of my trip there, it was one of the best things I've ever done. I can dig out if anyone's interested...
