I've been getting calls lately from robots that automatically put me on hold.

The phone will ring, I'll pick it up, and a robot will say, "All of our representatives are busy..."

We don't get the robot, it's just silence for a few mins. You end up saying "Hello,Hello,Hello" then you hang up.

It's a computer dialing a dozen numbers and someone in a call center will pick up on one that answers.

I used to be cruel to telemarketers.
Id keep them on the line and bs with them for as long as I could keep them on.
A freind was one for a while, and said that they would get repremanded and sometimes fired for that.
I like to think that I did my part for the protection of the human race.
