Anybody here(aside from RG) ever use cheaptickets before? I think they're awesome and I'm looking forward to using them sometime soon.

At the moment by niece flies to and from Ireland for 1 penny (albeit with the dreaded Ryanair), you can't get much cheaper than that.
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.

Dont use Waytofly.com.
I did, a 450 dollar round trip set of tickets ended up being 971 dollars after they added their fees for everything.
Ill never use them again. I didnt know the charges until after they took the money off of my debit card and sent me a statement.
I keep my standards low.
That way im never disapointed.

Just make sure which ever one you use.. to scroll thorugh all the pages of your confirmation. I got a really good rate on a trip a couple of years ago... but somehow I missed scrolling through the last confirmation page. The flight there was fine. But the return trip had 4 transfers and took a full day to get somewhere that should have only taken about 90 minutes. Which sucked. Plus I booked the same flight for 3 other people.. so they were like.. 'Really? we have to change planes again? really?' >_< rofl.. actually it wasn't that bad.. and it was cheap. Just sort of annoying especially since I'm the one who made the mistake :P

^yikes.  :-\

I know, I realized that with cheaptickets. The ridiculous number of stops they include in their flights. For instance, a trip that really should include no stops would easily have 2(at least) stops via cheaptickets.
We'll see, but it is a cheaper alternative. And better regardless. So meh.

An air steward told me that the luggage goes on the plane with you and if you don't board the plane, then the suitcases don't go on it.  So, more changes would mean more chance of your luggage getting lost, right?

There was a program on TV I never watched about Ryanair, and I was told they had a man who'd apparently drop everything he's doing to take advantage of all the offers they have.  He said he's never spent ?2.50 on a single journey.

If you were aware of all the terms and conditions, would cheaptickets.com be similar?

^ That would be insanely cool :D You could fly to some random city and just eat, or see a concert.. then fly back home for less then cab fare.

You could wea something spiffy and tweed, but wear light weight linen underneath just to be sure. That way you could go to the airport prepared for cold or warm climates :D
