Oblivion like games

A friend asked me:

what are other good games like oblivion(Elder scrolls 4) for the PC that have these elements:
1)  RPG
2)  Fantasy
3)  sneak/assassin characters

apparently there are many, but what would you guys suggest?

Morrowwind + the two expansions (Elder scrolls 3) the graphics are pretty shitty, but the game play is great.

These you can set your character as an assassin, but the game play is different from oblivion
Baulders gate I and II
Icewind Dale I and II

As far as FPS Fantasy Stealth, there's the Thief series, but it doesn't have the RPG elements of XP and levels, tho...

Fable has a lot of different characters including a thief, I'm thinkin'. I've not played it, but I 'acquired' it for my kid. He really likes it in between times when he's burned out on StarCraft, Diablo2, etc.

Red Dead Redemption is semi oblivion, more like oblivion then GTA I think
