still run xp myself on my desktop.
ubuntu and xp (W7 in virtual bow)

i would do a complete sweep and install XP afresh.

I personally vote for Win7.  I haven't seen anything from XP that is a bonus over Win7.  Win7 is light on resources, it's 64bit drivers are solid, and it's and two generations improvement on all the services and technology (not to mention the security advancements).
