I can just imaging him saying meow with an English accent lmao.
Of course,, my American accent has homogenized with the Scottish accent I almost kept,,so the dog looks at me funny now.
FOrtunately, Frank got out today and the dog didnt hurt him,, He went nuts at first with the dog,, bu Bear decided to cuddle up with him.
I should have gotten a pic earlier,, Frank and Bear were eating out of the same bowl.lol
I keep my standards low.
That way im never disapointed.

Just the thought of the 2 of you in the "Carriage House" cracks me up! But a good time would be had by all.

This question is not meant to bring anyone down to low but I had to start calling around today to get prices on euthanasia for Gretta. She slipped and fell while she was just trying to eat her meal and then when she stood up her bad legs just got tangled up and she couldnt get out of it and slipped again.

The only vet open on Saturday told me $75 to be euthanized and $55 for cremation. (Shes a very large dog so......) I feel like a total heartless madam questioning prices for something like this but I cant watch her suffer anymore and we dont have any extra money. If anyone has had to go through this do these seem like reasonable prices?

Spoiler (hover to show)

Sorry to hear about Gretta OC. A friend of mine had to get his dog Garfield put down a couple of months back. I think he said it cost ?80, but it was only a smallish dog. I think the prices you stated seem pretty reasonable for a big dog.

my neighbors bird(small bird) died and the vet charged 80 dollars to cremate it. the prices do sound reasonable. i dont know if you have a pet cemetery near where you live, perhaps they may offer a better cremation price. And maybe the ASPCA  might offer a better price.

I'm sorry OC  :(

And I agree that sounds reasonable. You might call different vets in your area, or see if there are any activists organizations that could help. I know they donate food, and neutering.. you might find someone to donate other services also.
