Chat Noir aka Circle the Cat

This game, even though called originally "Chat Noir", became more famous on the internet as "Circle the Cat".

The goal is simple: circle the cat so it is blocked in only one circle and cannot move.

Many solutions are possible. Of course, the more elegant the solution is, the better.

My husband suggested this game to my daughter a while ago and she loved it.

I find it easier if you can lure the cat towards a narrow opening and then cut it off, leaving plenty of time to lock it in.
