So, I've been wondering where to look to find intelligent people to converse with. Someone recommended this site to me.

I am a college student in my third semester. I am taking an ASL course and I was wondering if anyone would want to chat with me about deaf community issues and the process of signing.

I consider all the members here intelligent with the exception of myself, but your chosen debate seems to be a little bit of a niche market. Hopefully there will be some who can entertain the subject but just remember, if you ever decide to study beer instead - I'm your man.

Hello Shlay. Welcome to the forum!  :)

I don't know anything about sign language. At my daughter's school they used to teach the kids to sing the National Anthem in sign language. I wonder if they still do that.
