Went for a review of my CTD surgery today and discovered they'd scheduled me for the left hand surgery. I hummed and haad and then went ahead with it.

Got home ok around 5pm, but about an hour later someone stole my bike.

Not the best kind of surprises.

It wasn't a Harley, just a "beast" in general.

Harleys aren't very popular in the u.k as it's not really a touring place. It's all about speedy Japanese bikes.

That said, if I were to consider a long road trip in the States, I'd much prefer a Harley over a racing bike.

I don't think I ever lasted more than 10 minutes at over 100 MPH on my Harley Sportster. Helmet tries to lift, bugs hurt, crosswinds make it hairy. Wouldn't want a crotch rocket.
