I was going to ask if the person who offered to take the dog in also, by chance, ran an ethnic food restaurant.

I've heard he was naming the puppy "Gaegogi".  ;D

Not today but yesterday I fell asleep straight after dinner and had to go to bed an hour later.  I have never done that before in my entire life and usually I'll nod off but wake around 10pm and be up until 1am.

I'm getting fed up with all this getting old malarky.
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

What time do you usually have dinner?

Usually around 7.30pm but admittedly it was later and nearer 9pm when we ate.

Odd though as I feel my usual self today and worked late to boot.

GET OFF MAH LAWN!!!!

Never really liked Bonanza.  I was more your High Chaparral type.

We always ate according to the kids school calendar/time sheet. Before she headed off to college it was clearly around 9pm

A friend of mine called today.  I hadn't heard from him in a few years.  He told me a joke.

Q:  Why do chicken coops have two doors?
A:  Because if they had four, they'd be a sedan.

Here we stress the accent so it doesn't work - not that as well at least.

Accent on which word?

It's a play on automobile terms.  Don't they have coupes and sedans in Britain?  Do you mean you call them coup-ays instead of coops?

Coupé has an accented é.

Something I learned from Top Gear:

What we call a "sedan" in the US is called a 'saloon' in the UK.

I cannot begin to describe how bad my hayfever is.  I can hardly see through my streaming eyes.  Even the missus has it and that is something completely new for her.

In Chalfont St Peter, they have a music festival called the Feast of Saint Peter in which they apparently listen to Elton John music.

Now Zoidberg is the popular one!
