I've used a couple different applications for it.  UltraMon and DisplayFusion.  I think I settled on DisplayFusion for no particular reason.

On my DisplayFusion, in the "Background Mode" section, there are options to "Span an Image across all Monitors", "Use a different Image for each Monitor", and "Use the same Image on each Monitor".  When you select the "Use a different Image..." option, you should be able to point to different images for each.

You PC folks are so cute.

That'll be me then.  And, nice of you to say so..

BTW, I just set each of my monitor properties to how I want it to look, and I have a triple set up.

IKR! Ild go as far as to say "Stunning"!!

Dweez, still not working. Ive attempted to do what you said but my results are always duplicates. And yes I did choose "different image" option. LOL

For info:

When I select "desktop" in my equivalent of control panel, I get a window on each screen, so for each screen I can choose the picture to use.:

Primary Screen:

Secondary Screen:

'swhat happens on a proper computer. Sometimes I am almost tempted to recommend the mac to folk, but I don't reckon most people would appreciate it - they seem to like the pain.

I'm using "eyefinity" but I think I had to set up groups when I initially set it up. I can't remember how it worked with 2 screens.

If I wanted over priced crap I would of spent it and got it and then would of been embarrassed about it.

"would have".

Expensive? Possibly. Over-priced? definitely not.

Crap? Well, it does what you want easily instead of making your life needlessly complicated, so I suppose it could be considered crap. If you are a masochist.

I have never been embarrassed about having stuff that works, but I guess different strokes ...

Never owned a 2CV6?

Nope. But I had a Cortina.

If it was a MKI or MKII, then you really were with it.

Can't you just stitch 2 desktop backgrounds together and stretch them across?  It's a cheat but should achieve the desired result.

OC1, which application are you using?  DisplayFusion or Ultramon?  Also, if the graphics card software has "merged" the 2 displays, like ATI/AMD's Eyefinity does, then the app probably only sees one desktop.
