loved it ! and finished it in a couple of days with about 75% completion. I will have to go back and collect all the other stuff. I played it on normal… I think if I played it on hard, I would have probably started to hate myself and it would have taken a lot longer to finish.  I'm going lend it my friend so he can play it and so he wont have to waste mula on buying one.

I have it but can't get past the very beginning (the "Seek Shelter from the Storm" phase) as it keeps crashing to desktop.  Waiting for another game patch and/or gpu driver.

I'm trying to avoid spoilers, but how bad are the QTE's?

not to bad. certain parts you have to move the left dialog stick? back and forth quickly I died a few times…   and there arent a lot of QTEs, just enough I think.

I've got the game now, but I haven't played it yet. I've heard mixed reviews, but if it is a lot like Uncharted as people have said, it will be fun.

I think its similar but not as rich as uncharted… but that might have more to do with story and its suppose to be dark and bleak. I'm was happy we didn't need health packs any more and I do enjoy a good brutal kill finish.

Ah, yeah, I can play it now.  I updated my vid driver to the latest nVidia beta and got it running.  My save slot says 90% complete so, hehe, I've been playing a lot of it (Raptr says I'm "Elite"...it's based on time spent I believe).  I really enjoy it.  It's not really hard but I'm enjoying the story, it's a super fun game, and love using the bow.

There are other "kill finishes" then with just the axe.  Once you "master" the appropriate skills, you can do "finishes" with any of the weapons.

the bow is fun i especially liked fire arrows.

what part of the story are you up to, have you hunted any of the animals? I did like once or twice but its not really that fun..

if you kill a crab, you get an achievement award

 are all game achievements the same across all platforms or are they different if you play on a PC or a xbox?

The achievements are the same.  I tend to hunt any animals I can until I max out the XP for that area, dear, wolf, boar, crab, crow, seagull (did I miss any?).

I just finished up the "Research Base" area.  I should finish it up tomorrow I think.

I must've missed the crows and the seagulls. Yeah there isn't too much more after the research base.

There's an achievement for killing/looting 10 flying animals (don't know if they actually have to be in flight at the time).

Just finished it with 100% completion...now I just need 4 single-player achievements.  I won't be doing any of the multi-player thing.

I was a little disappointed by how easy the end was.  Storyline?  I loved that.  I suppose the ending was on par with the rest of the game but the ending IMHO is supposed to be the toughest part.

I thought the real boss was the big samurai at the end(took me a while to best him).And the game had me all geared up to fight island goddess. I do agree with you though it should be the toughest part, but I think for reboot of the franchise  that's starting from the beginning it fits, I would expect that next one is a little bit harder then this one.

Liked the game. I don't play for achievements, just the storyline, so I finished it pretty quick.
