meyer lemon with star anise and ricard
guava strawberry with meyer lemon

Yummmm!

I have to go get more guava first.  There's hispanic markets here that carry them regularly.

They're very rare in my country but I've just came from Brazil were I ate goiabas em calda (guava in syrup). They were cooked with cinnamon and cloves. Nice.

Steak and Cheese subs from a local shop. place went under about 20 years ago after he bought a second shop in the bad part of town and kept pumping money into it from the very successful first shop. i've had a lot of steak and cheese subs, but still dream of these ones, wish i knew how how made them.

Slightly less than room-temperature water after a good work out.

Ice cold beer on any particular day after doing nothing in particular - or something particular - whatever.
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.

just had the best chocolate crumb cake ever ! perfect ratio of cake and crumb topping. the cake was moist and the crumb topping was a little sweet and a little crunchy.

My daughter made me an orange and chocolate swirl cake yesterday (father's day in the UK), filled with cream and decorated with jumbo chocolate buttons and an abundance of icing of various colours.

It was so good I had it for lunch today even though is smacked my diet around the face.. twice.

Hehe, Christmas, Thanksgiving (and non-US equivalent holidays), Independence day (hasn't the UK always been independent?), Mother's/Father's Day...all get an automatic "Diet Pass".
