Game punishes you for being a capitalist. Be forewarned.

Also bugged as golly. GET OUT OF HERE STALKER GET OUT OF HERE STALKER.

lol Get out of herrrrre Stullkur. With the Russian accent...
I had no problem with the game running glitchy but I did find the act of looting clumsy and too time consuming (unless you killed everything and then went back to loot in peace).

I don't remember, but in most games it is dangerous to put looting off until later, as items fade.

^ Like I said, Stalker's loot policy was awkward. If you looted as you moved along it was likely that you'd be shot before you completed the process.
That can be taken to support your comment that the game punishes you for being a capitalist. lol

I like the game though and lately have been thinking of installing it again. It's been at least two years since I played it. The problem with LOTRO sometimes is that there simply isn't enough gun-play in Middle-earth.  ;D

Happy to hear that you're enjoying the novel so far.

There are lots of "Empties" in the Zone which makes them relatively low on the rewards list. Stalkers bring 'em in by the bunch. Picture an Empty like a can with invisible sides and two top/bottom disks. A "Full Empty" is an Empty with strange stuff inside... like a gel or some strange alien gas and these puppies fetch a good price.

I found roadside picnic in epub and am going to load it onto the iPad.  I'll let you know what I think when I've finished it.
