Reliable hard drives.
« on: June 25, 2018, 05:34:36 PM »
Mom was bitching about me purchasing CD's at goodwill, I explained that buying it in that format allows me to decide what format to rip to, and showed her how it works.

Now she wants me to copy all the CD's we've got, but I don't currently have an external hard drive, and the last one I bought was a 250 gb Maxtor in 2006. That lasted about ten years, so not bad for a maxtor.

So I'm looking for reliable tech. Price range is I'm poor. longevity is a major plus here. External preferable.

Hmm, I have a SATA hard drive case I bought a while back, maybe I should just buy an internal and shove it in that.

But reliability is still my number two concern.
