Lying RAM

beep beep. Computer decided not to boot.

So I popped the side, and reversed 2/8 ram sticks

Computer boots normally.

Jerk.

weird things are "Ram" , son had similar problem. never moved machine and all of a sudden pc stopped. Moved ram to another slot all ok  :o :o

eh, it happened again, I did it again.

The machine REALLY doesn't like running with the side panel off. Big 'ol BIOS warning, then it spins all the fans up to top speed.

This thing has a lot of fans, it got loud.

But it's working now, and that's all I really care about.
