the Family Stone.
i adore this film. has laughter , tears , touching moments.
An uptight, conservative, businesswoman accompanies her boyfriend to his eccentric and outgoing family's annual Christmas celebration and finds that she's a fish out of water in their free-spirited way of life ( from imdb ).

I'm a sucker for old time horror flicks, from Nosferatu to the Hammer movies.  That does have something to do with my age and the fact that I come from England, as when I was in my teens we still only had 3 channels that went off air about 12.30 - 1am. BBC2 used to run a late night horror movie on saturday nights that finished sometimes as late as 2am!! and we are only talking the late 70s.  They now have a special place in my memory and around the same time was the advent of the VCR, so I had things like "Driller Killer" and "The Texas chainsaw massacre" to combine with Lon Chaney Jr and Bela Lugosi flicks that were broadcast on TV - those were the days...
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.

I saw that one and loved it!

Yep, I have a vivid imagination and fully believe that anything is possible. So I am careful about what I expose myself to.

I was like 8 when I saw an episode of Buffy, I saw a hand getting ripped to shared, and I got scared, at 12 I watched the show ever time.

I still can't see nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween or Friday 13th. I can see the "remakes" but not he originals with crude blood and poo.

Lol. I'll fess up and admit to having seen almost every one of the Buffys after it went to syndication. However, just the commercials of the movie she made"The Grudge" were scary.

If you haven't seen the original "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (Kristy Swanson and Luke Perry) you should.  It's pretty hilarious.

^ yeah well weirdest film ever, it's a miracle that buffy came back to life after that movie ;)

vicky christina barcelona and the curious case of benjamin button were quite good.  i prefered the first one, though.

thank you for smoking was great

Le Grand blond avec une chaussure noire had me several times in laughing fits

Yes, dweez, I did see the movie, with Luke Perry, right? It was funny.

I just saw the movie John Q the other day, very good movie which makes some good points about the Americans problems since HMOs have entered the scene. Has anyone else seen it?

Only if you have the ability to take over a hospital single handed with an empty gun and be willing to commit suicide.  I didn't say anything about realistic, just good. And it did bring out a few points that those who aren't Americans may not be aware of. One more addition to that crown of thorns we call a medical system.

i watched American Dreamz yesterday and thought it was hilarious, it's the best satire i've seen in some time.

afterwards i watched Mash and aw loved it, except for the prolonged football game... those names: hot lips and hawkeye :D
in the comment they said that the actors of hawkeye and his sidekick tried to get altman fired during the first couple of months of shooting because they thought he was crazy and would ruin their careers :D

M*A*S*H is a great movie... better than the TV show, IMHO...

American Dreamz...

Would have seen it had it not been for Hugh Grant...
