That's actually a good rule to have.  I think my cats are giving me a bad
back from pinning me on all sides in bed  :D

You find it difficult to go on extended vacations MaxDreamer?

I'm a neat-freak so I can't handle them in my room. That's one less room for me to clean.  ;D I can sleep with them when I sleep in another room with a bigger bed, just not mine. I'm lucky that the cats like to sleep on their cat tree/scratching post or in the FR or LR.

No. I have a really cool neighbor that takes care of the cats when I go on vacation and I take care of hers when she goes on vacation. And the dogs get boarded at local kennel.
