Tonight I have the worst headache in living memory so I am turning in pre 11pm.

after a 8 hour journey to Bispham north Blackpool ( to my wife's mothers grave and the best fish and chip shop  :D :D :D :D )

Still managed one glass of Montepulciano D'Abruzzo, but it weren't easy.

Damn headache is still there but has moved to the other side?

I don't know whether to take it easy or nuke the hell out of it with some Brandy?

When I have a headache the worst thing for me is red wine. Or champagne. Actually champagne is the cause of a headache if I drink it before I go to bed. It's like poison to me. And it's not related to its quality. Stronger stuff isn't remotely as bad.

Headache is diminishing and I am beginning to feel my old self again.  So, it's a beer or 2 followed by a nice rum and then another headache before I go to bed.

Count yourself lucky. I live with 4 pains in the neck: the 6yr old, the 9yr old, the missus and the one above my shoulders and below my head.
