Spoiler (hover to show)

I can see how 3D sports can help spectators with the depth perception, but what happens if you've had a bit much to drink and the ball flies straight for the camera?

Now Zoidberg is the popular one!

I saw this item on the news a couple of weeks ago which was more focussed on the World Cup at the time.  I can't see (no pun intended) the benefit unless they make flatbed TVs where the 3D players actually pop up and run about on it in scale, as I still like listening to games on the radio because the vocal description of the action can be more engaging than video sometimes.

Those projectiles from the United fans will look really scary now. We'll all be ducking. :)

Lets hope they never use the technology at a Millwall game, we'd all be covered in 3D blood.
