I suspect so, but I also think it is without malice.

Either way, common sense prevailed and it might be a good idea if you made a note of that in your diary.  You may need to refer to it when talking to your great grandchildren.

I just bought a GF leather jacket off Ebay.  It was worryingly the Ebayer's fIrst transaction and the poor soul had a buy-it-now price of £400.  He failed to include a started bid though and I managed to swoop in and snatch it for £29 - that's right, £29!

As the guy doesn't have any feedback to worry about yet I think he may skip out and so I left it 12hrs before paying to give him a chance to mail me and cry-off.

No mail, so I paid.

What's the odds that I don't ever receive the item?
