I know I was busy this weekend but how on earth did I miss the passing of Whitney Houston. Got to admit I am alarmed but not shocked by her death, as I will never forget that interview where she lost it which unfortunately summed up what her life had become.

She is however, the only person I have ever had a poster on the wall of.

Yes, I stressed about that for a minute or two but could not think of another way to say it and I know that it not unacceptable to use a preposition to end a sentence.

I just thought she was stunning back in the day.

I had a hard time trying to understand Atlantic handing her their biggest ever contract a few years ago, as she had quite obviously lost her appeal as a celebrity and her talent as a singer.

She wasn't that much older than me you know, and that I find a bit frightening.
