Just downloaded the new update for my ipad. I don't really like the new look. Reminds me of windows a bit and a little of android.  I do like the new pin lock screen. I'm sure I just have to get used to it.

varying responses to the update.
Wife's / sons phone ipad worked a treat after update.
friend lost his wi-fi ability straight away.still cannot use it.
As a non apple user, i think it looks ok, but apple could do with an option of choosing which
theme to use.
I run android 4.1 on an old galaxy s2 advance and find nova theme excellent for altering the look.
Most phones look similar today no matter who you buy.

I told my sister this, but I'm not sure she's willing to accept it.  It's like buying a new computer, almost anything is good enough unless you have some special need.

I think a lot of these updates are to brick old devices. I'm still sore at firefox for killing off support for PPC. Not everyone can afford a shiny new macbook

pain in the ass the update.
took me hours to work out how to TRY and stop Virgin mail constantly reloading nearly 5000 emails every time wife deleted some 

deleted entire email account for her and piggy backed NTL (now Virgin) onto Gmail (luckily she had an old one).
all ok now.
