I'm strapped for time at the moment. Even now I have to go to bed by 10pm as I have to take my son to his school at 4.30am tomorrow morning to catch a coach to France. 

He's not even old enough to bring me home some Brandy!!

I hope XT isn't laid up with her injury.  I haven't seen her around for a few days.

The staff room always smells like socks when she's away.

I'm either getting better or I got used to the pain.  :D  I had to go to the doctor, he examined my spine, gave me some X-rays and stuff and apparently it isn't a bone issue. I'm supposed to go see him again if the pain didn't go away in a week but I won't do it.

The whole internet seems slow as far as content creation goes. It's pissing me off, no new crappy fanfic to read! >:(

I suppose I could go to AO3, but their site is communist. I did manage to snag an account though, I hear their waitlist is like eight months long now.

I've been on a massive cleanout of my apt and garage.  A decade and a half of accumulated stuff that needs thinning.  That, plus excessive insomnia and I've been simply too tired to come on.  I'll try to be better about it.

I'm glad you had an agreeable vacation, smokes.  My husband and I are looking forward to a couple days of relaxation in the coming weeks.  He's been working non-stop on a project and has had no time to do much more than come home, eat and we collapse in front of the tube.  Watching Ripper Street these days and replaying Black Adder.  I kick back with some cheap, good wine and some crackers and relax.  Hope everyone else here is well.
