OK, I went total geek about 4 months ago and bought a headset with a microphone (for DayZ) and use TeamSpeak.

Who else here uses a gaming mic?

^ What about MMO's where you may need to talk instead of type?
In DayZ, for example, players will shoot if you stop to type-chat. No patience.

I use the Kinect on my Xbox so my gal and I can talk to other players without having to wear headsets.

use to have a mic for cod and like, son borrowed mic
now no mic, love to have a laugh at the "conversations" people have. ;D ;D
