I heard that this was going to be on the news tonight around 530pm, but I changed the channel so never heard what it was about. And now, too lazy to actually look it up.

But is that total, or each way?

Did I just give away 40 million of my prized bacteria, and received 40 million in return?

I think it sounds like more than it is. How many bacteria are exchanged during a 5 minute bathroom break for example? or a 2 second handshake?

 I don't think I want to know what bacteria I may pick up from a 5 minute bathroom break. I think they did do a study on the amount of bacteria transferred from handshake.

I"ll look it up and post the results..
