Happy New Year to one and all!!

I'm about to start cooking for this evening as we have some family over.  After that it's a couple of films and then the countdown to the fireworks.

It should all be over for us by 12.30am which suits me to be honest.

Whatever everyone else is doing I hope you all enjoy it, and as the saying goes: don't do anything I wouldn't do (which is an incredibly short list, I can tell you).

Happy New Year!!

Maybe it's because it's summer here but we start cooking in the afternoon, we sit at the table at about 10 PM and we're probably still eating dessert when the fireworks start. We're usually a lot of people for the New Year's eve gathering but this time we're only 10 close family members. The good thing is the booze is plenty and good.  ;D

Happy new year one and all  :)
Quite one for me as wife worked late New years eve and early New years day.
just 3 bottles of bitter for me and a glance at Graham Norton on the BBC.

I don't know about everyone else in the UK but TV is trash. So many repeats shown and thats from the same channel 2/3 days apart. Thank god for the radio  :)
