Web of trust scams users, sells personal data.
« on: November 06, 2016, 06:17:39 PM »
I tried web of trust once on the recommendation of someone here. I found it odious, like punkbuster. Rather than rating the legitimacy, they pushed their opinions and morals on the user, so I shitbinned it.

If you are still using it, stop now.

I used WOT until I read this, thanks.

At one time WOT gave this site a Very Poor rating. I registered an account and helped to change that.

Yes, I remember all that kerfuffle now.

It didn't help that we were periodically hacked back then. Either way, WOT was more WTF.
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.
