How NOT to make Knorr Asian Chicken Rice.
« on: September 17, 2018, 09:50:07 PM »
So, dinner tonight was Chili fries.

But it was supposed to be a knorr Asian rice pack with chicken chunks.

Now, the way to do this right is simple.

1. steam chicken.
2. follow packet instructions.
3. Combine
4. eat.

The way to do this wrong is

1. put mix and water in frying pan.
2. put chicken in mix in frying pan.
3. Light stove.
4. Complain.

See, these Knorr mixes aren't rocket science, but if you deviate from their instructions, they become watery poo.

So you get Chicken partially cooked in watery poo.

Hence, Chili fries.

To whom did you complain?
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.

It was more that my mom complained. Once again, Chili fries solved it.

oh, and that recipe is straight garbage.

1) Heat can stag Silverado Chili.
2) grate Cheddar Cheese [sharp if you can get it]
3) Bake some dollar tree fries
4) Combine
5) Consume
6) Store remainder

I so enjoy your food posts, 8ully.  I love the Dollar Tree frozen fries recipe.  Your mother is lucky to have your culinary abilities to draw from.

So, few days later we had a Tupperware of leftover chilli fries (no cheese on it, which is weird, but W/E)

Mom didn't want soggy fries, so she threw them in a frying pan, which was ambitious for her.

She brought em up until they were hot. Still soggy, but good enough.

A while back I mixed refried beans and cheese in a "burrito paste"

Then she cooked up some meat with a spice mix I make regularly, maybe I should write it down.

Sour cream and verde salsa to top it off. NICE.

But put all that in a tortilla, with cheese of course, and you've got a meal that surpasses leftovers.

Of course, I have no idea what I'm going to do tonight.
