Honey, Lemon, and Ginger

I swear by this mixture for colds or stuffiness, I add a generous portion of Crown Royal. It either works well or I stop caring, either way,  cheers!

LOL, ahh, Crown Royal. Ended that vice in '06. Used to drink it by the half gallon. I think. The one that had the grip you could get at Sam's Club for $38.00? Many mornings began with an elixir called a Hot Toddy. Whew, boy, I drank an awful lot. Sure glad to be alive.

I would have used Rum but it seems my daughter borrowed my bottle of rum and hasn't replaced it yet, either way, I don't drink much alcohol, mostly beer in the summer months and on vacation.

I have very fond memories of my quaffing days. I had to quit. I still imbibe but it's so infrequent that I just say I quit drinking entirely.

I definitely have put honey and alcohol in tea for being sick.  I normally mix bourbon in there.
Hey Schmoog, great to see you. : )
