Saints Row series is on sale in the Microsoft Store.

I don't know if anyone is still gaming on an xbox 360, but I believe the games are "forwards compatible" if you have a newer Xbox.

I finally managed to find a use for my Microsoft Points. I used to enter to win the Xbox One X. I never won and kind of felt like I was just flushing those points down the toilet.

Well today I used it to buy the first Saints Row on the digital games store. My original disc was too scratched to rip (F'n 2006 roommates!) so I hope this will lower the stress on the console when playing.

It felt pretty good to actually use the points for once!

Specifically, the Original Saints Row was $1.49

Man! is this genre of gaming violent. I'd never heard of that game and just watched the gameplay trailer. It was just a 2.5 minute killfest.

Pacman only killed dots (and the occasional fruit).
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.

The tutorial for the first game does require you to kill three gang members, but afterwards you are given a house and can play tourist in the city.

In the second one I did a pacifist playthrough. Escaping from prison was fairly difficult and I had to lower the difficulty to the easiest setting, but I managed.
Then I just punched parking meters to get seed money and hit the casino. Saved when I won, loaded when I lost.

After that I bought up all the properties (Player housing, mechanics shops) and essentially lived life as a wealthy degenerate gambler.

It took quite a long time to download the digital edition of the game, but it runs better than the disc copy ever did.

The second game is also on sale for around two dollars US. I had to redeem a $5.00 gift card with my points, so I might buy that one too.

The DLC packs are not on sale. :(
