That's a little wind-up figure I have of a character named Arale from a manga/anime called Dr. Slump. I dunno why they colored that stuff in her hand pink (it resembles soft serve ice cream) when in the manga that would be a brown pile of poo. Arale has this thing about poo - don't ask - but it's hilarious...  :D

Anyway, show me a billboard near your house...

Not exactly a billboard, but it's a good one.  This is in a town not far from the city I grew up in.

I couldn't get the billboard I really wanted because they've finally taken it down due to a lot of reconstruction that's going on around my house. The billboard I wanted, up until a few months ago I guess they took it down, had a tattered ad for the film Fight Club on it. Yes, Fight Club, released in 1999 and nearly 10 years later the ad was still up. I'm sad I didn't get my camera in time to take the picture...  :-\

Anyway, so here's the billboard (pic taken from a moving bus):



Next, please post something you look at every day on your way to work. And I want to clarify here that I'd like something other than a picture of a Starbuck's you frequent. I'm talking like a statue or sign or fountain or something like that... :)

Took me awhile to come up with something, but here goes:



That is my plush Shoggoth (from the mythos of H.P. Lovecraft) which even though it is a stuffed animal, it is not something I care to cuddle...  :D It has in the center on the other side a sucker hole with jagged teeth...

Please, show something of which you have a collection...
