We ARE just that Skadi.
  Im sick of product A or product B being programmed into my head every time i watch TV,which is why,more and more,i don't watch it,or i channel hop whenever ads come on.

One of the reasons I don't watch TV It's a God dam mind altering machine.  The quality of life is much higher not watching TV more so the adds and news. I don't miss anything if the sh it hits the fan there are always people ready to let you know. I now call them the doom & gloom merchants

Plus.. if push comes to shove.. just reading your posts for as long as I have I know there's some things you'd think it was dumb to splurge on..

I'm not saying no one can own stuff. I'm saying that a society that intentionally promotes people to buy to feel worthy.. especially knowing that the majority of thier population is destitute.. that's just wrong. And it makes sense poeple would feel worthless and not empowered.

But that's on gadgets. I bet if someone asked you if you wanted a shot of Lagavulin, or the house whisky.. you wouldn't choose (and pay for) Lagavulin just to look successful.

I'm not saying you have to be a hobo. I'm just saying it's not good if someone feels so inept because they're poor that they kill themselves. Especailly if they live in a country where wealth is nearly impossible to achieve.

Yeah, I'm not that accomplished a drunk that I choose to pay for the good stuff.  I do on occasion (what I consider good anyway.  What I consider...GOOD, I rarely opt to pay for).  But yeah, I'm a gadget guy.

I usualy just braid mine,, or get lazy and trim it down ( Its pretty short now)
