I've been an autodidact since I was a wee thing... which makes me an extremely lousy and undisciplined student. Believe me, I've tried. College interfered with my reading list.
That, and I first went to college at 36 (Classics study... i.e. Greek & Latin) right after my divorce and went a bit mad chasing skirts. The world is a safer place with me ensconced in my room, reading & writing.

I'm cleaning the house, cooking, and preparing things for my daughter's birthday party. One of 2 birthday parties. She'll have another party with 20 friends next Saturday that will involve the (plastic) swimming pool. I prefer 20 kids for a few hours and not 5 for a pijama party.
