Severance, season 2, seems to be like some kind of dysfunctional futuristic Friends. Small number of characters. Some limited romance with a few. Some lapses in logic with one character and weird corporate retreat that simply made no sense. The guys writing this seem like they've inhaled the corporate culture of Silicon Valley and are integrating it to the best of their ability into this show. It makes being a sole proprietor seem very attractive if this is the alternative. Ick. I've only seen a few episodes of this season but it seems to be slowly going off the rails.
